I started SLIS program at SJSU back in January of 2008. I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted to achieve through this program since I was very new to the field. I still feel quite new to the field since I don't have professional experience in the field so it's difficult to grasp the fact that this is my last semester.
I am very excited to be taking LIBR 284 - Seminar in Archiving and Records Management for the second time. I remember taking the first seminar last spring which focused on electronic records management. It was a great introduction to the topic for me who was new to records management. As you can tell, I am very into the subject so I am taking LIBR 284 for the second time and very excited about it. This semester LIBR 284 is focusing on Web 2.0 and Archives. With the vast amount of information being created in such a distributed way through Web 2.0, I can't wait to see where this course will take me.
